I am prompted to write about that little jingle.
Commercials are designed to program consumers to respond. People hear that little jingle and begin to believe the words and to want that product.
Diamonds are mined by slaves. People sufffer greatly and even die just so someone can wear a sparkly rock. It has no medicinal or healing value. You could not pay me to wear a diamond - and I don’t see it as proof that someone loves me. I refuse to be blinded by a corporation whose goal is to make as much money as they can without concern for human life.
Remember – love is the thing that you can give away and still have more left.
